Students who need food can grab snacks and microwaveable meals at one of NRCC’s food pantries located in Connection Center #1 (Godbey 70) in Dublin and in the Connection Center on the second floor of the Uptown Christiansburg Site (formerly NRV Mall). These pantries are open to all students who are in need of food; students do not need to fill out any paperwork or even ask a staff person for the food.
The food is collected through an annual food drive sponsored by the Fine Arts Club and Kappa Pi as well as donations from faculty, staff, students and community members. If you would like to make a donation to the food pantries, you can do one of the following:
The pantries are managed by NRCC's Student Services staff who are dedicated to helping to connect students to the campus and community resources they need in order to be successful students at NRCC and beyond. If you have any questions about the food pantry or need help accessing other resources, feel free to reach out to the Student Services Office at 540-674-3677 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
