Who We Are»

About the Foundation

    Established in 1980, the NRCC Educational Foundation is a nonprofit corporation. It secures voluntary support and manages, invests, and expends such funds solely for the benefit of New River Community College. Members of the Foundation Board of Directors represent the counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski, and the city of Radford. These community leaders volunteer their expertise and service on behalf of the college and community.

Cameron Fitzwater Memorial Scholarship awarded

The Cameron Fitzwater Memorial Scholarship has awarded four $1,000 scholarships to Tyler Blevins, Maizy Landreth, Joseph Shaver and Michael Sparta of Pulaski County High School.

Beverly MacLeod, of Harrisonburg, has endowed a scholarship through the New River Community College Educational Foundation in honor of her late husband, William Baker MacLeod.

Ingram honored with VCCS philanthropy award

     May 5, 2015
The late Robert J. Ingram has been awarded the 2015 Chancellor’s ARobertward for Leadership in Philanthropy from the Virginia Community College System. He was nominated by New River Community College.
