Regalia Information for Graduates

NRCC ACADEMIC REGALIA POLICY

Approved dress for NRCC students marching in the graduation ceremony consists of black robe, black mortarboard and appropriate colored tassel. Honor society (Phi Theta Kappa) stoles and cords designating academic achievement as formally approved by the College are also permitted. Other acceptable regalia include: Official Medallions presented to participants of NRCC's Advanced Learners Program and NRCC students on the All-Virginia Academic Team. Only academic attire as approved by the Graduation Committee may be worn. All other types of attire including, but not limited to, signs on the top of mortarboards, buttons, patches, attire designating cultural heritage or group membership, corsages, etc. are considered extraneous and are not permitted. Failure to comply with these rules could result in the removal of the graduate from the ceremonies.

Prices:

• Cap, Gown, Tassel - $48.00 plus tax
• Tassel Only - $6.50 plus tax
• Announcements - $15.00 plus tax (pkg. of 10 with blank inserts)
• Diploma Frame - $104.95 plus tax
