You don't have to know how to dance, just move your body and follow the lead and you will see how fitness can be fun. Class starts at a beginning level and will contain the steps of reggaeton, salsa, merengue, hip-hop and samba. Tennis shoes required.

HOST 1100-C1 BEGINNING CAKE DECORATING, CLASS # 529282 Continuing Education UnitsThursdays, September 15 through November 177:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.Edwards Hall, Room 208Instructor: Teresa BlankenbecklerTuition: $92Learn the art of cake decorating through instruction and hands-on experience. Develop the skills you need to create spectacular cakes. Learn to make a variety of borders and flowers. Learn to do special techniques such as basket-weaving, lattice work, drop strings and figure piping. Participants will also learn to do a character cake, cut-up cake, transfer cake and tiered cake. Supplies will need to be purchased.

LLRN 1101-C1 BALLROOM DANCE, CLASS # 52961Fridays, September 16 through November 187:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.Martin Hall, Student LoungeInstructors: Naomi King and Hugh WebbTuition: $44 per person (couples only)Beginners will learn basic steps for foxtrot, swing, and waltz. Intermediate students will learn foxtrot, rhumba, and possibly another dance of interest to the students. LAWS 1100-C1 CONCEALED CARRY, HANDGUN SAFETY, CLASS # 52930 6 Hour CourseTuesday and Thursday, September 27 and 296:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.Edwards Hall, Room 208Instructor: Joey WilliamsTuition: $55The six hour lecture is required with optional range time. The class is intended for persons who are applying for a handgun permit through the courts. Students will learn the nomenclature of revolvers and/or semi automatic handguns and understand safety issues related to handgun ownership. Textbook included.
