The music of Nightwingz will be featured during New River Community College’s Concert Series event on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Music will begin at 6 p.m. in 117 Edwards Hall at NRCC in Dublin.
Hailing from the heart of the New River Valley, Nightwingz is a variety band, delivering high-energy performances packed with classic rock, country favorites, and dance-worthy disco hits. Whether you're hitting the dance floor or singing along from your seat, Nightwingz guarantees a good time for all. Since forming in 2023, the band has performed throughout the local music scene, including clubs, festivals, and private parties across the region and beyond. Known for powerful vocals, and electric stage presence, Nightwingz thrives on the energy of a lively crowd. The band’s goal is to bring the fun, bring the hits, and leave the audience wanting more. The group consists of Steven Wayne on lead vocals, Jennifer Hunnings on keyboards and vocals, Curtis Dean on guitar and vocals, Alan Dean on drums, Curtis Carrico on bass, and Tim O'Sullivan on guitar. Each member brings decades of experience and a passion for performance that shines through every note.

The doors open at 5 p.m. for the show. Admission is free; however, donations will be accepted to help offset the travel expenses for the musicians. The music events are typically held the second Saturday of each month through April at NRCC, a Crooked Road affiliated venue.
