Staff
Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
Have two years of experience as a registered nurse.
At least one year of direct client care or supervisory experience in the provision of long-term care services.
Experience may include employment in a nurse aide education program or employment in or supervision of nursing students in a nursing facility or unit, geriatrics department, chronic care hospital, home care, or other long-term care facility.
Minimum associate degree in nursing from an accredited college.
Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, and effective communication in teaching/learning situations.
Fairness and flexibility in understanding and working with a wide variety of students.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative manner in a team-oriented environment.
Teach nurse aide classes.
Dependent on academic qualifications and previous work experience.
