Most computers within NRCC are connected to the college’s local area network and the Internet. This requires network users to understand their responsibilities in order to protect both the integrity of the system and the privacy of other users. NRCC treats access to network resources as a privilege that is granted with the presumption that every member of the college community will exercise their responsibilities. With this in mind, we are required by the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) to complete Security Awareness Training. This training will be required on an annual basis for all college employees. New employees will need to complete the training within 30 days of their employment start date. Existing employees will need to complete the training within 30 days of receiving this email. Please read the following information on how to complete the Security Awareness Training. If you have any questions please contact the NRCC Help Desk.
