An administration of justice course entitled "Serial Criminology" will be offered on Wednesday nights from 6 to 9 p.m. at New River Community College in Dublin starting August 27.
The course will examine the phenomenon of serial homicide from both the academic and cultural perspectives. Topics will include the backgrounds and crimes of several historic American serial killers including Ted Bundy, the "Zodiac Killer," Wayne Williams, John Wayne Gacy, Albert DeSalvo, Jeffrey Dahmer, David Berkowitz ("Son of Sam") and Charles Manson.
There is no pre-requisite for this course. Class schedules are available at www.nr.edu/schedule. Current NRCC students may register for classes online by visiting their student accounts.
