In celebration of Black History month, New River Community College (NRCC) and the college's Black History Committee will sponsor a guest speaker and music program on Sunday, February 9, at 3 p.m. The event will be held in Edwards Hall, room 117 at NRCC in Dublin and admission is free.
Gary Hash, senior pastor and co-founder of the Jubilee Christian Center in Fairlawn, will be the keynote speaker. He will offer his thoughts on "thinking generationally."
In addition to founding the Jubilee Christian Center, Hash and his wife, Colette, travel nationally and internationally with Gary Hash Ministries, Inc. They have also trained with Marriage Ministries International and are members of Fellowship of Covenant Ministries, Int., based in Elk Grove, Calif. They are also regional directors with Fellowship Covenant Ministries and Gary Hash is a trustee.
The Jubilee Christian Center Praise and Worship Team and the Glorylanders will provide musical entertainment for the event.
