New River Community College will offer several more "Sharper Skills Seminars" for business in November. Topics include keeping good employees, time management and organization, and going further with iPad.
NRCC corporate trainer Dr. Jeanne Symanoskie will instruct each workshop.
"Keeping Good Employees" will examine concepts like recruiting versus managing employees, how to connect with employees, maintaining good communication and consistency and fairness.
In "Time Management and Organization" seminar, she will discuss assigning priorities to daily activities, overcoming procrastination, handling crises effectively and organizing the workspace and workflow.
"Going Further with iPad" will build on basic iPad skills and help users understand topics such as multitasking, push notifications, grouping applications, childproofing and pairing with Bluetooth devices. Apps such as Facebook, Evernote, iBooks, games and iMovie will also be discussed.
