3. Seek out role models and mentors: You can find them at school, social and community organizations, places of worship, at home, and more. See how networking can help you reach your goals with a combination of people and professional skills.
4. Pursue careers that are in demand: Know your industries and develop skills that will transfer across occupations within a career field. Then, familiarize yourself with the high-demand occupations in the area so you know what skills are needed to succeed.
