New River Community College is offering a First Aid, CPR and AED course that will cover topics used to meet OSHA’s requirements for the workplace.
The class will be held Friday, Sept. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in room 142 at NRCC’s NRV Mall site in Christiansburg.
The course will give participants the knowledge, skills and abilities to recognize, treat and administer care in the event of an emergency until professional medical care arrives.
The cost of the course is $145.
