Lewis, New River Community College's fifth president, was honored Monday night with a retirement reception and program among "400 of his closest friends" according to event emcee Gary Hancock. Here, Dr. Lewis and wife, Mary Ann, enjoy one of the many stories that were shared with the group. Dr. Lewis has served NRCC for 42 years, with the past 17 years as president.
