Jack M. Lewis grew up on a farm in southern Georgia. As a teenager, he never thought about going to college...until one day, his high school physics teacher took him to Georgia Southern College (now Georgia Southern University) for a visit. It was there that he met his wife, Dr. Mary Ann Pollack Lewis, and began his educational career. The Lewises live in Blacksburg. Their youngest son, Charlie, is a recent graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. |

Their two older sons, John and Stephen, both Naval Academy graduates, live
in Northern Virginia. John and his wife, Susan, have given the Lewises two
beautiful granddaughters, Ashley and Samantha. Stephen
and his wife, Geremy, have given the Lewises twin grandsons, Richard and
Corbett, and a new grandchild is due to arrive soon.
Dr. Lewis enjoys golf and playing the piano almost as much as spoiling his grandchildren--but not quite! |
