Some distance learning courses start early this fall at NRCC

| Among the more than 190 classes being offered this fall at New River Community College (NRCC) are distance learning courses available to students through a partnership between NRCC and Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). These courses begin on August 22, which is earlier than NRCC’s regular fall semester start date. The classes include the following: Beginning Chinese I and II, Beginning French II, Intermediate French I and II, Beginning German II, Intermediate German I and II, Women in American History, History of Virginia I and II, Beginning Japanese I and II, Meteorology, Elements of Astronomy, Photojournalism I and Beginning Russian I and II.
