Old Pros Big Band Orchestra Plays Benefit Concert at NRCC

| A crowd of over 100 people enjoyed an afternoon concert by the Old Pros Big Band Orchestra in Rooker Hall at New River Community College last Sunday. The concert was held as a benefit for the NRCC Educational Foundation scholarship program in memory of the Honorable J. Robert (Bob) Dobyns, former member of the Virginia House of Delegates, member of the NRCC Educational Foundation board and longtime friend of the college. The event raised $3,500 for student scholarships. In this photo, Bob Dobyns’ daughter Robyn (far left) joins the Old Pros as a guest vocalist. |
