Presents arithmetic, elements of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Directs applications to specialty areas.

Prerequisites: Competency in Math Essentials MTE 1-3 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostic tests, or by satisfactorily completing the required MTE units or equivalent. Part I of II.

Introduces number systems, logic, basic algebra, and descriptive statistics.

payroll, sales, property and other taxes, simple and compound interest, bank discounts,
