While using the library, please refrain from the following:
We ask, as a courtesy to other library users, that you turn off your cell phone ringer and take all calls outside of the library.
Due to the lack of appropriate materials to absorb the attention of children for long periods of time, and the lack of personnel to supervise children in the use of library and audio-visual materials, all minors entering the Library should be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Also, this policy shall apply to a child of any age who proves to be a disruptive influence in the Library, at which time the child will be asked to leave the Library until the parent(s) are notified of the child's behavior or a conference can be arranged with the parent(s).
Children are not allowed to attend classes for which they are not registered. Unsupervised children, whether children of students, faculty, staff, or visitors, are not permitted on campus, or other college sites. Children are not allowed in any laboratory classes. This policy is based especially in concern for the safety of the children, but also on the fact that in our experience, children may be a distraction and a hinderance to both the education process and the day-to-day operation of college offices.*
