  • Published handbook for faculty entitled Working with Learning Disabled Students
  • Produced four informational videos for students and faculty
  • Initiated Speakers' Bureau to provide opportunity for selected students to express their individual ways of coping with, and compensating for, their learning disabilities
  • Produced teleconference entitled "Bridging the Gap: Transition Services in Southwest Virginia"
  • Coordinated "Transition: A Global Perspective" conference for area high school personnel, students, and parents
  • Developed college directory of brochures from the nation's colleges which provide services for LD students, literature to assist students, literature to assist students in choosing a college program, and information regarding strategies for successful transition.
  • Compiled resource library listing for dissemination among postsecondary institutions in Southwest Virginia and beyond
  • Published article "Working with the Learning Disabled college Student" in VCCA Journal February 1990
  • Designed course entitled "Academic Strategies for Special Needs Students"
