The NRCC Educational Foundation provides over 130 scholarships of $1000 each to eligible students each year. These endowed scholarships are awarded to students chosen by a committee of faculty and staff from the pool of applications submitted by current students as well as those planning to enroll for the Fall 2009 semester. The criteria for selection includes residency requirements, financial need and current or potential scholastic achievement. Those who receive a NRCC Educational Foundation scholarship may be considered for a second grant if all of the requirements are met. Recipients of the scholarship must maintain a class load of 9 or more credit hours, so part-time students are eligible to apply. The applications are available now online at the financial aid website or a paper copy can be picked up at the Financial Aid Office in Martin Hall. The deadline for submission is February 16, 2009.
