The New River Valley Magnet School for Information Systems Technology is an innovative educational program for secondary students in the New River Valley region of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The program is designed to prepare high school juniors and seniors in information systems related technologies–specifically those that involve certification in the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of computers, computer networks, and software necessary to operate computers in the information-age workplace.
