Purpose

The Associate in Applied Science degree program in American Sign Language - English Interpretation is designed to benefit those who have limited, if any, previous experience with interpreting for the deaf. Upon successful completion of the program, the student should be prepared to pursue either a Virginia Quality Assurance Screening Level or national certification.
