About the CAD Program
The CAD program here at New River Community College offer a high quality and diversified curriculum.
The program has recently been revamped from the ground up. In the fall of 2004, Jeff Levy took over as head of the CAD program at New River. Mr. Levy's background includes both prior teaching and professional design work (see instructor link).
There are three different degree programs:
- Computer Aided Design
- Architectural Design Specialization
- Game Technology & Animation
The CAD lab has been updated to: CAD/ Architecture and Game Technology Program housed at new $4 million dollar facility at New River Valley Mall

- Dual Core Dual Processor work stations
