Electricity

Program begins August 27th.

We will assist students in filing for financial aid and filling out the FAFSA. Applicants will need reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug screen.

Program is 24 credits with 12 credit hours per semester making students eligible for full time status. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays with occasional class times on Wednesday.

Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and will have access to an embedded tutor within their college classes. In addition to the certificate in Electricity, students will receive their OSHA 30 certification.


The cohort is three parts:

  1. Digital literacy, preparation for the Career Readiness Certificate, and basic skill development,
  2. college courses, and
  3. the capstone and entrepreneurship certificate.

ELE 176 – Introduction to Alternative Energy Including Hybrid Systems – 3 credits
CAD 161 – Blue Print Reading – 1 credit
